Resume Writer - 1099 Contract Position
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We're looking to add a couple of Resume Writers to our team over at Hampton Writing Services!
Hampton Writing Services is a career services provider specializing in resume writing, LinkedIn profile optimization, and interview technique enhancement. Our Resume team delivers personalized updates, revisions, and industry-relevant advice to enhance our client's personal brand.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Fresh and innovative creativity to help our professional clients land new roles.
- Teachable and coachable personalities with a drive to develop into a top resume writer.
- Organized individuals with the flexibility to take on "as needed" projects as well as promptly deliver before deadlines.
- Excellent communication during project production.
Responsibilities:
- Transform client career goals and professional experience into high-quality resumes, cover letters, and/or LinkedIn profiles.
- Facilitate interview sessions via phone or video conferencing offering comprehensive feedback.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience from a recruiting agency or in-house.
- Minimum 1+ years performing interviews and qualifying resumes for a defined industry.
- Proficient with MS Word and LinkedIn.com
- Detail-oriented with spelling/grammatical errors and proficient with content writing.
- Consultative communication skills: active listener with a focus on customer service.
Preferred Qualifications: (not necessary)
- Experience recruiting for at least 1 defined industry
- Bachelors Degree from a 4 year accredited HBCU
College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
