I’m building a brand-new news site and my top editorial gap is regular, well-sourced profiles of key figures on the national political stage. Each piece should read like a straight news report: strictly factual, balanced in tone, and grounded in on-record quotes, voting records, public statements, and credible secondary sources. No op-ed language or speculative commentary—just concise storytelling that helps readers understand who the politician is, what drives them, and how their actions shape current policy debates.
I’ll assign subjects weekly. You’ll pitch an angle, gather at least three verifiable sources, file a 700–900-word article in AP style, and include a short bio box with essential career data. Turnaround is usually three days from assignment.
