Modelling of renewable energy powered micro grid for urban electrification -- 2
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
The main objectives to be achieved for the completion of the project are as follows:
• To explore the need and impact of PV source renewable energy used in a microgrid to resolve the issue of rural electrification.
• To evaluate PV source's planning, sizing, and optimisation technique incorporated in microgrid of rural areas.
• To explore the benefits of costs, demand, and efficient economy of PV-based system incorporated in microgrid of rural areas.
• To identify a configuration that has low TNPC (Total net present cost).
• To design a microgrid that can fulfil the demand with the help of a battery storage model using MATLAB/Simulink for rural off-grid energy-efficient devices.
