I’m finalizing a series of middle-school Ebooks in Math, Science, and Language Arts and need a sharp content editor to polish each title before release. Your job is to go beyond spelling and punctuation:
• Tighten explanations for 11- to 14-year-olds, ensuring tone, readability, and grade-appropriate vocabulary.
• Verify examples, formulas, and quick-check answers in Math and Science sections for accuracy and clarity.
• Flag any gaps, redundancies, or confusing transitions, then suggest concise rewrites.
• Standardize style—headings, call-outs, glossary terms, and captions—so every book feels part of the same series.
• Deliver clean, tracked-changes Word documents and a short summary of key edits for each title.
Experience with K-12 publishing, Chicago or APA style, and accessibility guidelines will help you hit the ground running. I have multiple manuscripts ready, so if we work well together there’s steady follow-on work.
