Local New York SEO Focus
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I run a single website that serves customers in one area code spanning three counties in New York State. The immediate aim is to strengthen our local brand awareness, so every tactic should zero-in on people searching within that geographic pocket rather than chasing statewide or national traffic.
Here’s what the engagement looks like:
• On-page optimisation – I already have a working list of keywords. I need them woven naturally into page copy, headings, meta titles, descriptions and any schema that will help our local visibility.
• Off-page work – I want a steady flow of high-quality, locally relevant backlinks and social mentions that will reinforce our authority. Think industry blogs, local news outlets, community sites and the kind of social sharing that signals trust to Google.
• Local tracking – Please set up or fine-tune Google Search Console, Google Analytics and (if useful) tools like Ahrefs, Moz or SEMrush so we can benchmark current performance and see measurable movement in local pack rankings, map listings and organic impressions within the target counties.
Technical SEO and site-speed projects are outside the scope for now, so your focus stays on content relevance and local authority building. I’ll provide the keyword list, access to the CMS, and pointers to existing social profiles. Success looks like improved rankings for those keywords when searched from zip codes inside the target counties, plus a visible lift in branded impressions and referral traffic from the new backlinks.
If you’re ready to dive straight into on-page refinement and locally focused link outreach, let’s talk timing and milestones—my goal is to see tangible results within the next 60 days.
