Islamic Notes for Community Sharing
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am putting together a set of Islamic religion notes that can be circulated easily within our community WhatsApp and Telegram groups, posted on the masjid’s website, and projected during weekly halaqas. The material must therefore be delivered as clean, well-organised digital documents (PDF plus the editable source in Word or Google Docs).
Core content
The heart of this project is a clear selection of Quranic verses, each paired with an accessible yet accurate tafsir-style interpretation. Arabic text, a reliable English translation and your commentary should sit side-by-side so readers at different levels can benefit equally.
Scope and tone
• Depth: keep every explanation grounded in authentic scholarly sources while staying concise enough for quick community reading.
• Language: contemporary, respectful, free of jargon, suitable for a diverse congregation that ranges from teens to elders.
• Citations: footnote every scholarly reference so that anyone can verify or study further.
Format & design
Please structure the document with headings, sub-headings and smart use of colour blocks or call-outs for key takeaways. A consistent, calm aesthetic is important: think neutral tones and a readable font size for mobile screens.
Future expansion
Right now I only need the Quranic verses and interpretations section, but I may commission follow-up modules on historical context, notable figures or detailed ritual guides, so keep your template flexible.
Deliverables
1. Editable source file (DOCX or Google Docs)
2. Print-ready and screen-optimised PDFs
3. Any design assets (fonts, icons) that are not standard system resources
I will review the first 3-page sample for structure, tone and accuracy before you proceed with the full draft.
