I’m putting together a fresh series of educational articles that explore Islam in an inspirational, uplifting voice. The plan is to publish a steady stream of well-researched posts that everyday readers can connect with spiritually and intellectually.
Here’s the scope you’ll be writing within:
• History
• Theology
• Practices and rituals
Each article should translate solid scholarship into accessible language, weave in relevant Qur’anic verses or hadith when they naturally support the point, and leave readers feeling motivated to deepen their understanding and practice. Citations must be reliable (classical sources or respected contemporary scholars), and any Arabic terms need concise transliteration and explanation.
I’d like concise headlines, engaging sub-headings, and a clear takeaway at the end of every piece. Expectation is to write 10 articles a month. We can decide on topics for the week and the month in weekly and monthly meetings. Working communication skills in multiple languages is preferred.
