Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m commissioning a writer who can turn history and culture into uplifting, reader-friendly stories that will be shared both as full articles and as concise Instagram posts. Every piece should be accurate, thoroughly researched, and leave the audience feeling motivated to learn more.
The scope
You’ll research a range of historical and cultural topics we agree on, craft inspirational long-form articles, then distill each one into an engaging Instagram caption or carousel copy. The style must be motivational rather than academic, yet still stand on solid facts and clear sourcing.
What I need from you when you bid
• A short outline of your research workflow—where you find primary and secondary sources, how you verify claims, and the citation method you use (Google Scholar, JSTOR, digital archives, interviews, etc. are all welcome).
• A realistic timeline that shows draft, revision, and final delivery checkpoints for both the articles and the matching Instagram material.
• A quick note on how you tailor voice and length for Instagram while preserving accuracy.
Deliverables (to be finalised together)
• Article manuscripts (reader-friendly formatting, reference list included)
• Corresponding Instagram captions or carousel text resized from each article
• A source sheet for every piece so fact-checking is straightforward
