History & Culture PDF Articles
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m putting together a new series of downloadable PDFs that explore important moments, movements, and personalities in history and culture. Each piece must go beyond a surface-level overview; the goal is to give the general public a rewarding, well-researched read that they can enjoy on any device.
Here’s what I need from you:
• 6–8 standalone articles, each 1,200–1,800 words, delivered as press-ready PDFs (A4, accessible layout, embedded fonts).
• Engaging narrative style that balances academic depth with plain-language clarity—think Smithsonian Magazine rather than a textbook.
• Credible sourcing throughout (Chicago or APA citations in a reference section at the end of each PDF).
• Royalty-free images, maps, or infographics where they genuinely add value, properly credited.
• Consistent visual identity: matching cover page, header/footer, color palette, and clear section headings.
Acceptance criteria
1. Facts are verified against at least three reputable sources; citations included.
2. PDF passes an accessibility checker (tags, alt text, logical reading order).
3. Grammarly or equivalent report shows no major errors.
4. File size under 10 MB without noticeable quality loss.
You are free to propose specific history or culture topics you’re passionate about—just ensure there’s variety (e.g., different eras, regions, or themes). Once topics are approved, we’ll set milestones for drafts, design, and final polish.
