Health Blog Writing Mentor

I want to build a career as a freelance content writer with a clear focus on health-related blog articles. Right now I’m starting from zero, so I need a mentor who can walk me through every stage—from choosing credible sources and structuring a post, to polishing language, optimising for SEO, and pitching finished pieces to clients.

Here’s what I have in mind:

• A step-by-step learning path covering topic research, outline creation, drafting in Google Docs, editing with tools such as Grammarly, and basic on-page SEO (keywords, meta description, headings).
• Regular feedback on short writing exercises that build up to a complete 1,000-word health article ready for a portfolio.
• Practical guidance on setting up profiles, crafting proposals, and pricing work on freelance platforms once my first sample article is refined.

Acceptance criteria
– By the end of our collaboration I can independently research, draft, edit, and deliver a publish-ready health blog post.
– I will own at least one polished portfolio article.
– I understand the basics of client outreach, proposal writing, and negotiating fair rates.
