German Localization for Social App

Job ID: 40123877

Budget: €12 – €18 EUR

I’m rolling out a German-language version of my English social media app and need every user-facing string rendered naturally for German users. The files contain short UI elements—buttons, menu items, onboarding hints, error messages, push-notification snippets—so fluency in concise, context-dependent phrasing is vital.

Beyond direct translation, the build includes numerous cultural references embedded in feature names, achievement badges, and playful in-app tips. I’ll supply a master spreadsheet (.xls or .csv) plus the resource file our dev team exports (.json). I’d like the returned German file ready for drop-in use, with a separate column or comment layer explaining any adaptations you make so QA can track context.

Deliverables
• Fully translated resource file in German, preserving keys and placeholders
• Context notes for each cultural adaptation
• One revision pass after our internal review for polish and consistency

A background in mobile localisation tools such as Lokalise, POEditor, or Xcode .strings is appreciated but not mandatory as long as the final file structure stays intact.
