French Localization for Troubleshooting Guides

Job ID: 40104581

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

I have a set of troubleshooting guides produced as multimedia presentations that walk users through step-by-step fixes and an FAQ section. Everything is in English today; I now need it to feel as if it were originally created in France.

Your main task is to translate and localise all on-text, and embedded FAQ copy into natural, idiomatic French. The slides include a variety of images; some of them may need light localisation—e.g. swapping screenshots that show an English UI, re-creating a graphic with French labels, or updating captions. If an image looks fine as-is, you can leave it untouched.

I’ll provide:
• The original presentation files (PowerPoint)
• A visual reference PDF for layout integrity
• A short glossary of product terms

What I need back:
• Fully translated presentation, layout preserved
• Any adjusted images replaced inline (PNG/JPG/SVG as appropriate)
• A separate bilingual text file for final review

Please keep the tone friendly yet precise, use standard French for a broad francophone audience, and respect existing style choices. If you have experience localising UI screenshots or working with PowerPoint’s and word files, that’s a plus. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right collaborator and will be available for quick feedback throughout the process.
