Job Description
College Board is looking for a freelance content writer with exposure to the K12 and higher education space in India, to write articles, blogs, listicles, emails, ad copies etc. about our products and services for the benefit of students, schools, and universities. This is a remote working position and we would want to start immediately.
Key responsibilities
- Each piece would need to be well-researched, informative, engaging and SEO-optimized where required as per brand language.
- These can be long and short form.
- You will need to work closely with our team on a pipeline of content pieces and where required plan for content pieces from the start.
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources and any interviews/ studies if needed)
- Prepare well-structured drafts as per brand strategy and guidelines and share them in a systematic manner, with strong review mechanisms for version control.
Key skills
- Passion for writing with an excellent portfolio of work related to the education space.
- Experience with SEO-optimized content writing best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience writing story / testimonial-based articles and content placement knowledge for education portals will be a bonus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
- Planned and organized way of working
