Fix Wikipedia Reference Formatting
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a complete draft of a Wikipedia article that was recently declined, and the reviewer’s main concern was the way I formatted my sources. The content structure, tone and neutrality were all accepted; the references section is the only blocker.
All the citations are already collected, so I do not need research—just proper formatting in line with Wikipedia’s citation templates. Most of what I’ve included now are raw URLs or loosely-formatted notes, and I need them converted to the correct cite web, cite book, or cite journal markup so the article can be resubmitted without issues.
Deliverables
• A revised wikitext file (or section) where every reference is cleaned up, complete, and consistent with Wikipedia standards
• Brief guidance on any missing fields (author, date, publisher) that I should supply before resubmission
Once the citations look flawless I’ll handle the final submission myself, but I’d like that expert polish so the draft is accepted on the next review cycle.
