Fantasy Worldbuilding Creation

Job ID: 40147955

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

My upcoming fantasy saga needs a living, breathing backdrop. I have the broad strokes of a plot, yet the setting—its magic system and deep-rooted mythology—still feels like an outline waiting to be colored in. Your task is to turn that outline into a cohesive, written worldbuilding bible that I can reference as I draft the story.

The focus is on:
• A fully-defined magic system: rules, limitations, costs, social impact, historical origins, and key rare practices.
• Layered mythology and lore: origin myths, pantheon or spiritual forces, legendary events, and how ordinary folk interpret them across regions and eras.

Format & length
Everything must be delivered as clean, well-structured written descriptions (Google Docs). No maps or character profiles are needed this round; depth on the above two pillars is where the value lies.

Integration with narrative
Each element should directly suggest plot hooks and thematic resonance. If the magic once toppled an empire, leave breadcrumbs I can pick up later. If a creation myth feeds cultural tension, highlight where that tension might flare.

Acceptance criteria
1. At least 6,000 words total, split logically into sections with headings.
2. Internal consistency: no lore contradiction within or between sections.
3. Ready-to-use terminology glossary for spells, artifacts, and deities.

I’ll review, request one round of edits if needed, then sign off. If this collaboration clicks, plenty more realms await.
