Experienced VA for B2B Content & Consultancy Operations

Job ID: 40202277

Budget: £10 – £15 GBP

Job Title: Virtual Assistant – B2B Content & Operations Support (Financial Services / RegTech)
About the RoleI’m looking for a detail-oriented, discreet Virtual Assistant to support content creation, pipeline management, and presentation preparation for a boutique risk leadership consultancy serving senior executives in regulated financial services (banks, insurance, fintech).
This is not a social media influencer role. This is professional services — think compliance, governance, AI transformation. Your work will directly support client acquisition and thought leadership for C-suite audiences (Chief Risk Officers, Heads of Compliance, etc.).
You’re a great fit if:
∙ You have 2+ years of VA or executive assistant experience, ideally in B2B professional services, consulting, or fintech/banking
∙ You can write in a professional, authoritative tone (not casual or salesy)
∙ You’re comfortable working with Notion, Google Workspace, website builders (Zyro, Webflow, etc.), and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva)
∙ You understand the difference between LinkedIn content for B2C vs. senior B2B executives
∙ You’re proactive, ask clarifying questions, and don’t need hand-holding for every task
∙ You can work UK or US time zones (at least 3–4 hours overlap for live support)
Key Responsibilities:
Content Pipeline Management (40%)
∙ Build and maintain a Notion-based content calendar (LinkedIn posts, blog articles, newsletter ideas)
∙ Draft LinkedIn posts and articles based on topics I provide — you research, structure, and write first drafts in a professional consulting tone
∙ Repurpose longer content (e.g., turn a blog post into 3 LinkedIn posts + a Twitter thread)
∙ Schedule posts using LinkedIn’s native scheduler or Buffer
Presentation & Collateral Support (30%)
∙ Build slide decks for client pitches, webinars, and speaking engagements (I provide structure/talking points, you design and format)
∙ Update website copy and pages on Digital Pathwaze site (simple edits, new blog posts, service page updates)
∙ Create one-pagers, case studies, and PDF downloads (Canva or InDesign)
∙ Light graphic design work — pull brand-consistent visuals, format documents, resize images
Live Presentation & Admin Support (20%)
∙ Join live webinars/presentations as tech support (manage slides, monitor chat, handle Q&A logistics)
∙ Prep speaker notes, run tech checks, coordinate Zoom/Teams links
∙ Post-event follow-up: send thank-you emails, upload recordings, draft recap posts
Operations & Admin (10%)
∙ Maintain contact lists, update CRM or simple tracking sheet
∙ Light inbox triage (flag urgent emails, draft responses for my review)
∙ Research: find speaking opportunities, podcasts, industry events
What Success Looks Like (First 30 Days):
∙ Week 1: Notion workspace built, brand assets organised, 2 LinkedIn posts drafted (with my edits)
∙ Week 2: First presentation deck completed, website updated with 1 new blog post
∙ Week 3: Content calendar populated for next 4 weeks, first live webinar support completed smoothly
∙ Week 4: Full pipeline running with minimal input from me — you’re anticipating needs, not waiting for instructions
Practical Details:
∙ Hours: 15–20 hours/month to start (can grow to 30+ for the right person)
∙ Rate: $15–20/hour depending on experience (negotiable for exceptional candidates)
∙ Trial: Paid 2-week trial project before committing to monthly retainer
∙ Tools: Notion, Google Workspace, Canva, Gamma, Teleprompt, LinkedIn, X, Substack, Unstagram, facebook, website builder/updates (training provided if needed)
∙ Communication: Weekly 15-min check-in + async updates via Notion/Slack
Must-Haves:
∙ Fluent written English (UK or US standard — you’ll be writing for senior executives)
∙ Portfolio or work samples showing B2B content, presentation decks, or professional services work
∙ Signed NDA (financial services = strict confidentiality)
∙ Reliable internet + ability to join live calls during UK/US business hours when needed
Nice-to-Haves:
∙ Experience in financial services, consulting, fintech, or risk/compliance (even tangentially)
∙ Familiarity with RegTech, AI governance, or compliance topics
∙ Basic SEO understanding for blog content
∙ Experience with Webflow, Builder.io, or similar website platforms
To Apply:
Send:
1. A short note (3–4 sentences) explaining why you’re a fit for this specific role (not a generic cover letter)
2. 2–3 work samples: LinkedIn posts you’ve written, a slide deck you’ve built, or a blog article in a professional tone
3. Your hourly rate and availability
