Educational Counting Storybook Creation

Job ID: 40366357

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

I’m putting together a charming picture-book aimed at curious 3- to 5-year-olds who are just starting to grasp basic counting and numbers. The story needs to blend simple numeracy lessons with a fun, engaging narrative that keeps little listeners eager to turn each page.

Here’s what I have in mind:
• A complete manuscript of roughly 400–600 words, written in clear, rhythmic language that lends itself to being read aloud.
• A page-by-page outline indicating where illustrations would appear and which number concept each spread reinforces (1–10).
• Repetition, gentle rhyme, and age-appropriate vocabulary so toddlers can predict and participate.
• A short back-of-book activity section (count-along prompts or easy questions) to reinforce the lesson.

Acceptance criteria
• Counts sequentially from 1 to 10, highlighting each numeral exactly once.
• No abstract math terms—everything is shown through familiar objects kids can visualize.
• Tone remains playful and encouraging; no didactic blocks of text.

If you have experience crafting early-learning stories that pair education with delight, your sample pages or previous titles will help me see the fit. I’ll review a brief outline first, then give the go-ahead for the full manuscript so we can keep things on schedule.
