Edit Existing Technical Documentation -- 2

Job ID: 40097487

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have a bundle of technical documentation that is already drafted but still rough around the edges. Instead of fresh writing, what I really need right now is a meticulous edit: tightening the language, fixing inconsistencies, making sure terminology is correct, and generally polishing the material so it reads smoothly for a technical audience.

The files are supplied in Word and Markdown, so you should feel at home working with Track Changes or inline diffs. No layout or graphic work is required—this is purely content-focused editing.

Deliverables
• A clean, publication-ready version of each file in its original format
• A marked-up copy showing all changes for transparency
• A concise change-log summarising structural or factual adjustments

Acceptance criteria
• Technical terms remain accurate and consistent throughout
• Sentences are clear, active, and free of grammar or style errors
• Document structure (headings, numbering, code blocks) follows the existing hierarchy

If you have a background in technical writing or have previously edited software documentation, you’ll be able to jump straight in. Please let me know your turnaround time and any similar projects you’ve completed when you place your bid.
