Dutch E-Commerce Content Localiser

Job ID: 39964331

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

I’m looking for a native-level Dutch linguist to polish and localise the blog and other content pages on my e-commerce site. The copy has already been drafted in English and partially machine-translated, but it needs a human touch to read naturally, feel truly conversational, and stay consistent with our brand voice.

You’ll work with the reference materials I’ll supply—tone of voice notes, sample posts, and a short word-list of key product terms—and make sure every sentence sounds like it was written for Dutch shoppers from the outset. Accuracy is vital, but so is flow; I want the reader to feel they’re chatting with a friendly expert rather than reading a literal translation.

Scope
• Review, proofread, and adapt ±20 blog or how-to articles (average 500–800 words each).
• Flag any cultural mismatches or references that may confuse Dutch audiences and suggest alternatives.
• Unify terminology and micro-copy (CTA buttons, headings) where you spot inconsistencies.
• Deliver clean, ready-to-publish text in a shared Google Doc with tracked changes and final version.

I’ll be on hand to clarify branding details and product nuances. If this first batch goes smoothly, there’s ongoing work in the pipeline as we expand the blog and refresh landing pages.

Please share a brief note on your experience with e-commerce brands and a link to one or two Dutch pieces you’ve localised.
