Culturally-Sensitive Online Toolkit Creation
Budget: $20 – $30 SGD
I have the seed of an idea for an awareness-building toolkit that Chinese-speaking community organizations can roll out online, but the vision still needs shaping. I’m looking for a collaborator rooted in the español community who can help me refine the storyline, weave in compelling cross-cultural examples, and highlight the historical context that will make the material truly resonate with the general public.
Here’s where I’m at: the overarching theme is clear, yet the narrative arc, reference points, and practical resources are still in draft form. Your first task will be to interview me (and, if helpful, a few community partners) to distill the core message, validate it against comparable campaigns, and expand the historical backdrop so users immediately understand why the issue matters right now. From there we’ll identify the sharpest anecdotes or case studies that transcend language barriers while respecting cultural nuance.
Once the narrative is locked, we move into production of two concrete, polished deliverables:
• A narrative playbook (PDF) – 6-8 pages that lays out the key message, historical timeline, recommended examples, and tone guidelines for community groups.
• A ready-to-publish online resource kit – editable templates, graphics, and short explainer copy that organizations can plug directly into their websites, social feeds, or messaging apps.
Both files should be formatted for quick localization (Simplified and Traditional Chinese) and designed in widely accessible tools such as Google Docs/Slides, Canva, or Adobe Express—whatever you prefer, as long as updates are easy.
Acceptance criteria
• Historical context is concise, fact-checked, and ties directly to present-day relevance.
• Examples are culturally sensitive, free of jargon, and cleared for public use.
• Layout is clean, bilingual-ready, and all links, fonts, and images are open-source or properly licensed.
If you have a knack for storytelling, a feel for cross-cultural nuance, and the design chops to package it all into user-friendly online resources, let’s talk.
