You must not use terms that would not be used in Australia. Everything must be written for an Australian audience. Typically speaking, the general approach would be to open the blog post with information about the location. Demographic information, Local Government information, Types of Businesses in the area etc. Then you would write about the core topic. These blog posts don't really have a "word count limit" but the should exceed 650 words long and not really exceed 800 words. If you need to use more words - then do.
