Content Project Manager
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
We are looking for an experienced Content Project Manager to oversee the completion of content-related tasks in our organization by collaborating with all teams involved in content design and development.
In this role, you will determine the project requirements, monitor the statuses of all ongoing processes within the initiative, and create and manage project budgets. You will also be reporting to the Chief Content Officer, ensuring the project deliverables are received on time, and sending regular updates associated with current projects to upper management. Other duties you will need to perform include communicating responsibilities and expectations to the content team and tracking project and content development goals.
To qualify for this position, you must possess a PMP certification and have a proven track record in Content Marketing. Our ideal candidate needs to demonstrate strong leadership, time management, and project management skills since the responsibilities of this role include supervising and providing guidance to writers, editors, and graphic and web designers. You must have extensive knowledge of content analytics and be familiar with standard project management methodologies and tools, such as Asana, Trello, Notion..
Responsibilities
Oversee all stages of content development, such as content planning, publishing, and reviewing, within specific projects
Determine project requirements and ensure the company has appropriate staff that can handle content-related projects
Delegate tasks to the content team and recommend solutions to improve content quality, accuracy, and delivery
Track project-associated activities of the content team, including editors, designers, analysts, and SEO specialists
Ensure completion of content projects on time, within budget, and as per our business requirements and strategies
Maintain the content production calendar and project schedules by implementing tools to streamline workflow
Create and maintain project status reports
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field
5+ years of experience working as a Content Manager or in a similar position
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
Advanced knowledge of stakeholder management tools and practices
Proficiency in project management software, such as ClickUp, Notion or Trello
Solid command of CMS, such as WordPress or Contentful
Experience in Social Media Marketing and Content Analytics is preferred
