Communication Coord
Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 AUD
We're a winter sporting organisation seeking part time ongoing communications support of a person who can live the journey of our season. We're a large club of over 20 years in our category in now the fastest growing sport in Australia. Our club is well supported and managed by an established, collaborative Committee.
You'd provide writing content, as well manage content providers to ensure our members, volunteers and sponsors are fully informed of the club's calendar priorities and events via emails, social media and website. So, skills in social media and websites would be advantageous. Also, will assist with tender and project documents as required.
Ideally, you'd have worked, or have had a sporting background, as understanding supporting a sporting membership base, multiple teams and a committee will allow the best path to success. Calendar deadlines, engagement and standards are important elements to ensure a positive experience and outcomes. The workload will have will flow in peaks and troughs, so organisation is paramount.
You must be based in Sydney, Australia and preferably on the Northern Beaches. There is no fixed location to perform the work. Though seeing the club set up, players and games will assist you in building a stronger connection to your performance and delivery. We will need to meet face to face throughout the season.
We are looking to pay a retainer, not an hourly rate.
