Casual Game Text Editing
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m putting the final touches on my game and want the in-game instructions to read as naturally as they play. Every tutorial pop-up, hint, tooltip, and onboarding message needs a quick language pass so they sound clear, friendly, and unmistakably casual without drifting into slang that could date the experience.
Here’s what you’ll work on:
• All existing instruction strings (roughly a few pages when placed in a single doc).
• Minor consistency tweaks where a line repeats in different contexts.
• Light proofreading of any surrounding dialogue if it helps the flow between messages.
You’ll receive a text or CSV file containing the current copy and its character limits. Please return it marked-up (track changes or side-by-side) plus a clean master ready to drop back into the build. I’ll test the revised text in-engine and let you know if anything needs trimming for fit, so being comfortable with quick turnarounds is appreciated.
If you love shaping snappy, player-friendly copy, let’s make these instructions shine.
