Business Report Proofreading and Writing
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a series of internal business reports that need a sharp editorial eye. The core job is two–fold: first, proofread each document for grammar, clarity, and consistency; second, step in where the copy is thin and craft concise, reader-friendly sections so the final report flows smoothly from start to finish.
Most of the text is already drafted, but you will find occasional gaps—typically a missing summary line, a weak transition, or an under-explained chart. Your task is to polish what exists, add straightforward explanations where needed, and return a clean, ready-to-circulate file.
Key points you should know:
• Documents range from 5–15 pages and are written in standard business English.
• Edits must respect any figures, tables, and headings already in place; formatting consistency is part of the brief.
• I prefer tracked changes in Word so I can review every adjustment.
Once you finish, I should be able to send these reports directly to senior management without further tweaks. If you have a knack for turning solid but rough text into polished, professional material, I’d love to see examples of similar work and hear how quickly you can turn around an average-length report.
