Adventurous Picture Book Writing

I want an engaging adventure story for children aged 3–5 that can be turned into a picture book. The narrative should be simple enough for preschool listeners yet exciting enough to keep parents reading aloud night after night. Please weave in playful tension and a satisfying, upbeat resolution that rewards bravery and curiosity.
Because the artwork will be cartoonish, each scene you write should lend itself to bold shapes, bright colours, and expressive characters. I’ll need brief illustration notes alongside the text so an artist can easily visualise what’s happening on every spread.
Deliverables
• Final manuscript (roughly 500–700 words, formatted into page-turn spreads)
• Scene-by-scene illustration guide with key visual cues and emotional beats
