Adult Stress-Reduction Program Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m creating a structured mental-health program that helps adults recognise, understand, and actively reduce day-to-day stress. I already have a general outline of topics but I need someone who can shape it into a cohesive, evidence-based course that people can follow independently or alongside a therapist.
What I need from you
• A clearly sequenced curriculum (approx. 6–8 core modules) covering the science of stress, self-assessment tools, practical coping strategies, and long-term habit-building.
• Scripts or workbooks for guided activities such as breathing exercises, mindfulness meditations, cognitive reframing tasks, and journalling prompts.
• A facilitator’s guide with session notes so the material can be taught in small groups as well as self-study.
• Recommendations for supporting resources—audio tracks, short videos, or apps—that reinforce the lessons.
Please ground everything in current best practice (CBT, mindfulness-based stress reduction, positive psychology, etc.) and cite reliable references so I can market the program as evidence backed. All content must be original, ready for copyright, and written in clear, accessible language for a general adult audience.
If you’ve built similar wellness or mental-health materials before, share a sample; otherwise outline how you would approach structure, tone, and user engagement. I’m aiming for a warm, encouraging feel that avoids clinical jargon without losing scientific rigour.
Once we agree on the outline, we can set milestones for draft modules, peer review, and final polishing. Looking forward to collaborating on a program that genuinely helps people feel calmer, more in control, and better equipped to handle life’s stressors.
