YouTube Music Channel Manager

Job ID: 40494007

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I’m launching a new entertainment-focused YouTube channel built around music performances, behind-the-scenes sessions, and related shorts. To start on the right foot, I’m looking for someone who can take ownership of the entire channel management cycle—from setting up the account through driving steady audience growth.

Here’s what I need you to handle:

• Channel setup: configure the brand account, playlists, banner, profile art, About section, and upload defaults so everything feels cohesive and on-brand from day one.
• SEO optimization: carry out keyword research, create search-friendly titles, descriptions, tags, and closed captions, and set up end screens and cards that maximise watch time.
• Content strategy: plan a release calendar for full-length videos, shorts, and community posts; advise on ideal video structure and thumbnails that perform well in the music niche; outline opportunities for collaborations, live streams, or trending-song tie-ins.
• Video publishing & analytics: schedule uploads in YouTube Studio, A/B test thumbnails, monitor performance through Analytics, TubeBuddy or vidIQ, and adjust tactics based on viewer retention and CTR.
• Audience growth: implement comment engagement routines, community tab polls, and social cross-promotion to drive subscriptions and return viewers.

Deliverables I’ll review each week:
1. Optimised upload (metadata, thumbnail, cards, end screens) ready to publish.
2. Updated content calendar with keyword notes and proposed topics.
3. Performance report highlighting wins, watch-time hurdles, and next-step actions.

If you’ve managed successful music or broader entertainment channels before and understand how to translate data into creative decisions, I’d love to hear how you would approach the first 30 days.
