Senior Content Strategist - Contract
Budget: $20 – $30 SGD
As a Senior Content Strategist, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of content creators, designers, and strategists, developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy for a product as well as associated platforms, and staying up-to-date with emerging content trends and technologies.
What will you be doing:
Act as a consultant and mentor to multiple content teams, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting business goals and delivering high-quality content.
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives for the agricultural sector, taking into account the different digital literacy levels of farmers.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to ensure that the content strategy is aligned with business objectives.
Define key brand messages and value propositions for content and ensure that they are communicated effectively across all channels and audiences.
Develop and maintain content workflows and governance to ensure that the content creation process is streamlined and consistent across the organisation.
Conduct content audits and use data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth in existing content.
Prioritise and plan content for multiple channels and audiences, ensuring that the content is optimized for search engines and adheres to SEO best practices.
Monitor content traffic, engagement, leads, and conversions using analytics tools and make recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with research teams to conduct stakeholder interviews, user research, and competitor analysis to inform content decisions.
Manage editorial calendars and delegate content creation tasks to team members as needed.
Stay up-to-date with emerging content trends and technologies to ensure that the company's content strategy remains relevant and effective.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in content creation or user experience, or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
3–5 years of experience in content strategy or a related role, preferably in a digital agency or technology company.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive business results.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide others towards achieving business objectives.
Advanced knowledge of user research methodologies and the ability to incorporate research findings into content strategy decisions.
Advanced knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with content management systems and publishing workflows.
Excellent project maangement and communication skills.
Able to effectively work with different workflows (Digital and Traditional Marketing).
Experience in content design and strategy.
Possess a strong sense of accountability and able to manage his/her tasks within the timeline given.
Good-to-have skills:
Understand two or more languages within the Asia region (apart from English) to help set the localisation validation process.
