SEO Strategy & Backlink Plan

I need an experienced SEO specialist to step in for a one-off engagement and hand me a clear, actionable roadmap. The site is completely custom-built, so please come prepared to work without the convenience layers of WordPress or Shopify.
What I expect from you
1. A comprehensive development strategy that explains exactly how we move the site toward stronger organic visibility—technical priorities, on-page fixes, and a realistic timeline tied to measurable KPIs.
2. A data-backed buying-backlinks plan. Tell me which types of links we should target, what quality metrics you’ll use to vet prospects, and a phased budget allocation that keeps costs controllable while maximising authority growth.
3. A concise content policy focused on product descriptions and landing pages. I’m looking for guidelines that copywriters can follow immediately: style, keyword usage, internal-link prompts, and any schema recommendations.
Acceptance criteria
• Strategy document addresses crawlability, indexation, core web vitals, and competitor benchmarks.
• Backlink plan lists at least 15 prospecting methods and provides quality thresholds (DR/DA, traffic, spam score) plus risk mitigation steps.
• Content policy covers tone, word counts, keyword density ranges, and includes three example rewrites (one product description and two landing-page sections).
If you rely on tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Surfer SEO, mention how you’ll use them; access can be arranged if needed.
Once this package is delivered and we’ve reviewed initial traction, there’s scope to bring you—or another specialist—back on an hourly basis for link acquisition and ongoing optimisation.
