Ramadan Charity Marketing Plan
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I lead communications for Sparkle Foundation—our Dubai-based charity that empowers children and communities in Malawi (see https://www.thesparklefoundation.org). With Ramadan fast approaching, I need a clear, data-backed campaign blueprint that will help us increase donations during the holy month.
The plan must be firmly rooted in what moves Muslims in the UAE at this time: generosity, zakat, community spirit and the promise of tangible impact. Story-driven messaging is key; inspirational narratives about the children we serve consistently resonate better than dry statistics, so weave that into every touch-point.
Scope of the work
• Map at least three recent Ramadan campaigns from UAE-based organisations that raise funds overseas, breaking down their creative hooks, audience triggers, channels and results.
• Propose a campaign concept for Sparkle that can live across social media, email and influencer collaborations, showing how each channel plays a distinct yet integrated role.
• Outline a two-week and a four-week activation schedule with sample posts, email subject lines and influencer talking points.
• Suggest partnership opportunities—whether cross-promotion with other non-profits, mosque outreach or CSR tie-ins—that broaden our reach without diluting brand identity.
• Detail an easy-to-understand zakat message: how it is calculated, where the funds go, and why Sparkle is a trusted avenue.
• Include KPIs, a lightweight tracking framework and fallback tactics in case any channel underperforms.
Please root recommendations in the UAE context, reference any cultural nuances I must honour and keep the entire document actionable—I should be able to pick it up and execute right away.
