Experienced Video Editor & Advisor Needed for Portfolio Growth + Client Strategy
Project Description:
I'm a dedicated video editor looking to take my editing skills, portfolio, and client outreach strategy to the next level.
I'm currently building a high-quality portfolio with the goal of landing long-term content creation clients (YouTube, Shorts, Reels, etc.), and I’m looking for an experienced video editor who can work with me in two ways:
Review & Collaborate – Give feedback on short-form & long-form edits I’m producing. Occasionally co-edit or polish when needed.
Mentor & Guide – Share insights about client acquisition, content strategy, and what works in today’s fast-paced content world.
This is NOT just a “do the job” type of role — I want to grow through this collaboration and invest in someone who can help me reach the next level as an editor and creative professional.
What I'm Looking For:
A skilled video editor with real-world client experience (YouTube, Reels, TikTok).
Someone who understands hooks, pacing, retention, subtitles, trend adaptation, etc.
A mentor-style communicator who’s open to hopping on occasional calls or exchanging feedback via video/voice.
Bonus if you’ve worked with influencers, brands, or content creators directly.
Tools I Work With:
CapCut, Premiere Pro, ChatGPT, Descript (open to learning more)
Basic workflow in place, just looking to improve and sharpen every piece.
