Toughneck is a Canadian trades-focused apparel brand. The content style is bold, edgy, jobsite-style humor blended with product promotion. It should feel real—not corporate, not polished influencer branding, and not generic ad copy. DISCLAIMER- Trades humour is NOT for everyone. There are offensive and vulgar phrases in many products and that is the desired tone for those products. If that tone isn’t your lane, this won’t be a good fit.

Tonight (First Post)
I need one Facebook post delivered within a few hours of hiring. The goal is to set the tone and drive engagement immediately.
You can choose one format:
Product-focused post (single image or carousel)
Humor-forward engagement post
Short attention-grabbing video (AI-generated video content is allowed for the post itself, but not for your pitch)
Pay: $10 flat for the first post.
This Week (After the First Post)
If the first post goes well, I’ll need 4–6 additional posts delivered by the end of the week, including a mix of:
At least one product carousel-style promotional post
At least one humour-forward engagement post
At least one short-form video concept
Additional posts that balance humor and sales naturally
You’ll pull product visuals directly from my website (link provided after hiring). You’ll write the captions and structure posts to encourage comments, shares, and reactions.
Content Specs:
Required image dimensions: 1080 x 1080
No emojis
No hashtags
Revisions: I’ll request a maximum of one revision only. The goal here is a smooth, straightforward workflow that’s efficient for both of us.
Deadlines & Payment Timing:
I plan to publish the first post around 8:00 PM MST (Edmonton time). In your pitch, you’ll reiterate the extreme strictness of this very short delivery deadline and state it clearly.
Payment for tonight’s post will be sent at 7:30 PM MST (Edmonton time) upon delivery and approval.
All remaining posts for this week must be delivered by February 27 at 9:00 AM MST (Edmonton time).
Compensation Options (Choose One & State In Your Pitch)
Option A: Fixed Pay
$10 for tonight’s post
A fixed amount of 40$ (not including gratuaty) for the remaining 4–6 posts
Option B: Commission
$10 for tonight’s post
10% of sales generated from the posts you create
Commission terms applicable for one week, if continued employment commences all terms (reporting/percentage/terms) will be renegotiated)
You must state in your pitch which option you’re choosing.
Commission Tracking (Simple + Transparent for Launch Week):
Because the page is brand new and there are currently no sales, commission for this initial launch phase will be paid on any sales generated during the active posting window this week.
Sales reporting will be pulled directly from Shopify and shared transparently. Given the urgency of launch week, attribution will be assumed based on timing and activity following your posts.
This structure applies to this initial launch period only and is not intended as a long-term tracking solution.
Ownership & Rights
All content created for this project will transfer with full commercial usage rights upon payment, so it can be used across Toughneck platforms without restrictions (social, website, ads, email, etc.).
