I publish two newsletters that focus on specialized niche topics and now want to push their reach far beyond the current readership base. The assignment is simple: audit what I’m doing, tell me what I’m missing, and hand me a clear, practical plan to accelerate reader growth, engagement, and paid subscriber count
Here’s how I see it working. We should talk first about my goals for my Substack. Namely, I want to increase engagement and readership, but also want to use these blogs as a platform for the books I and my time are writing. It would be great if you could review both Substacks—landing pages, welcome sequences, referral settings, social promotion, and any other touchpoints that influence discovery. Next, you distill that analysis into an easy-to-follow roadmap that shows where new readers can come from, which content hooks are most likely to convert them, and how to turn casual visitors into loyal subscribers. Finally, we sit down for a live session (video or audio) so you can walk me through the strategy and make sure I’m ready to implement it.

• Written audit of both newsletters with specific observations
• Growth roadmap covering acquisition channels, content tweaks, referral tactics, partnerships, and SEO opportunities
• Strategy call and Q&A
• Simple tracker template for monitoring subscriber gains
I have multiple metrics to focus on. Firstly, increased readership, subscribership, and engagement. Secondly, I do not have a paid tier yet, but this is something I would like suggestions on implementation. When you respond, please emphasize your experience—especially concrete examples of Substacks or similar email publications you’ve helped grow, including before-and-after subscriber numbers when possible.
Give me percise numbers on Substack blog growth. I'm not as interested in numbers with other social media and will mainly be vetting for marketing and other professionals that have grown Substack pages.
