SEO Outreach & Placement Specialist (Niche Edits, Guest Posts, Resource Links)

Job ID: 40414513

Budget: $2 – $8 CAD

I’m looking for someone to help place a cost calculator tool into relevant websites in the home services niche (driveway, roofing, tree removal, landscaping, etc.).

This is not bulk link building. The goal is to identify high-quality, relevant pages where the calculator naturally adds value, and secure placements through thoughtful outreach.

What You’ll Do:
- Find relevant websites and pages (blogs, guides, “cost of” articles, resource/tool pages)
- Use manual research and tools like Ahrefs to identify opportunities
- Evaluate sites based on relevance, real organic traffic, and quality
- Reach out to site owners with personalized, value-based pitches

Secure placements using:
- Niche edits (links added into existing content)
- Guest posts (only when appropriate)
- Resource/tool placements

Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and building a list of relevant targets
- Writing and sending outreach emails
- Following up and managing conversations
- Negotiating placements and pricing when needed
- Recommending where and how the calculator should be placed within content

Requirements
- Proven experience with SEO outreach and link placement
- Ability to find opportunities manually (not relying on pre-made lists)
- Strong understanding of relevance and content fit
- Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs or similar
- Clear communication and outreach skills

Nice to Have
- Experience writing guest posts or coordinating content
- Experience in home services or similar niches

Not a Fit If:
- You rely on pre-built link lists or networks
- You focus only on metrics like DR without considering relevance
- You use generic or bulk outreach templates
- You cannot explain why a placement makes sense

Example:
If a blog has an article like “How much does a driveway cost?” the goal would be to suggest adding a calculator to help readers estimate their own cost and place it naturally within the content.

To Apply:

Please answer the following:

1. How do you typically find outreach opportunities?
2. How would you place a calculator into an existing cost-related article?
3. What metrics do you use to evaluate whether a site is worth outreach?
