IT Content & Social Media Manager
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I run a growing Auckland-based IT solutions company and want to turn our existing vendor collateral, partner portals, and digital-syndication feeds into consistent, lead-generating social content. I’m after a specialist who can plan, create, and publish original text, audio, and short-form video that speaks to New Zealand small-business owners and drives them toward a discovery call with our team.
Platforms in scope are Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Business Profile, and YouTube. I’ll give you full access to our knowledge base, product sheets, and demo environments so you can capture screenshots, screen recordings, or voice-over walkthroughs without waiting on my input. You’ll also be free to repurpose approved vendor material—provided each piece is localised and rewritten so it feels like our own voice.
Typical week: refine the content calendar, design and schedule posts, jump into relevant groups or forums to answer questions, and monitor comments or DMs so nothing is left hanging. I’ll expect a quick performance snapshot each Friday so we can see which topics or formats are attracting the most qualified traffic.
Deliverables
• 1-month rolling content calendar (updated weekly)
• Around 1 to 2 posts per platform per week, mixed across copy, image, carousel, reel/shorts, and the occasional podcast-style audio bite
• Community engagement: daily replies, plus proactive participation in at least five NZ SMB groups
• End-of-month report outlining impressions, clicks, and lead conversions
If you’re comfortable with tools such as Canva, Adobe Premiere/Final Cut, Hootsuite, or Buffer, and can maintain a personable yet professional tone, let’s talk.
