Book Reviews Marketing Campaign
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’ve just released a new book and now need a concentrated campaign that turns visibility into verifiable reader reviews. The plan centers on two arenas where my target audience already hangs out: social media and established book blogs or review sites.
On social media I want to share eye-catching teasers and carefully chosen excerpts that spark curiosity without giving the plot away. You’ll schedule these posts, pair them with relevant hashtags, and engage with early commenters to keep the conversation active. Paid boosts are an option if you feel they will accelerate reach.
At the same time you’ll pitch the book to reputable book blogs, genre-specific websites, and reviewer communities, securing spots for spotlight features, guest posts, or interview opportunities. Your outreach should feel personal, not spammy, and aim for honest, organic reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, and other key storefronts.
Deliverables
• A four-week marketing calendar outlining daily social posts and blog outreach tasks
• 10-12 polished teaser graphics/captions ready for Instagram, Facebook, and X
• A vetted list of 30+ book blogs or review sites contacted, with status updates
• Weekly progress report showing reviews gained, engagement metrics, and next steps
Acceptance criteria: at least 20 new, legitimate written reviews across major platforms by the end of the campaign, with documented proof of each submission. I’ll supply the digital ARC, cover art, and any author information you need; you bring the strategy and execution that turns exposure into trusted reader feedback.
