African Social Media Marketing Campaign
Budget: €50 – €500 EUR
I’m rolling out a new initiative aimed squarely at African audiences and need a culturally attuned social-media push that resonates on every level. A solid grasp of core marketing principles is essential, but what truly matters here is sensitivity to local ethnopsychology and the diverse temperaments found across the continent.
The assignment centers on full-cycle social media marketing—from strategic planning through content deployment and performance tracking. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are the initial touchpoints I have in mind, yet I welcome data-backed suggestions on where our message will land most effectively.
Deliverables
• A concise audit of my current social presence (if any) and competitor activity.
• A platform-specific strategy document outlining objectives, audience personas, tone of voice, and posting cadence.
• A 30-day content calendar complete with draft copy and creative concepts (static visuals or short-form video ideas).
• Weekly analytic reports highlighting reach, engagement, and actionable insights for iteration.
Acceptance Criteria
• Content aligns with brand guidelines and demonstrates clear cultural relevance to at least three key African regions.
• Engagement rate improves week-over-week during the first month.
• All analytics and recommendations are presented in an easily digestible dashboard format.
Tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or their equivalents can be used—whichever best supports streamlined scheduling and reporting. The focus is genuine connection, measurable growth, and an unwavering commitment to responsible, insightful communication throughout the campaign.
