Temple Website

Job ID: 40527907

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I already have the full visual mock-up online at scsst.org and now need it rebuilt on WordPress (or a comparable, user-friendly CMS) so our charitable trust can manage everything in-house.

The new install must retain the current look and feel while giving us:
• Fine-grained user roles – Administrator, Editor and Contributor – so different volunteers can add content without risking the whole site.
• A genuinely easy editor experience with solid media management; uploading photos, PDFs or videos should feel as simple as posting on social media.

Day-to-day we run many parallel activities, so the build has to support:
• An Event Calendar that lets us highlight upcoming satsangs, blood-donation drives and other programs.
• A prominent Announcements area for urgent notices.
• Daily Updates, including a photo gallery dedicated to “Daily Darshan,” and the ability to post short reels or stories for quick inspiration.

I’m happy with an off-the-shelf premium theme or a light custom theme—whichever achieves the fastest, most maintainable result. Just keep the backend clean, documented and future-proof so any new volunteer can jump in without a steep learning curve.

Please outline:
1. Your approach to migrating the design and setting up these content features.
2. Plugins or tools you’d recommend (especially for the calendar, galleries and role management) and how you’ll keep them lightweight.
3. A brief hand-over plan or video that shows our volunteers how to add events, announcements and daily posts.

If you have examples of similar nonprofit or temple sites you’ve built, that will help me decide quickly.
