SEO-Focused WordPress Migration

My website has outgrown Squarespace and I’m ready to move it to a self-hosted WordPress instance. The priorities are clear: keep the overall look and feel my visitors already know, but completely revamp the back end for stronger SEO and faster load times.

Here’s what needs to happen:
• Set up and secure a fresh WordPress installation on my chosen host (I can provide cPanel access right away).
• Recreate the current Squarespace design so the transition feels seamless to users—minor stylistic tweaks for polish and performance are welcome.
• Build an SEO-friendly URL structure from day one. Preserving existing links where possible is crucial to avoid ranking drops.
• Configure essential SEO plugins and settings, then hand over a quick walkthrough so I can manage basic on-page tasks myself going forward.
• Optimize speed (caching, image compression, CSS/JS minification) so pages load noticeably faster than they do now.

I’ll supply exported Squarespace content, brand assets, and access credentials as soon as we start. Once migration is complete I’ll test everything; when design consistency, URL structure, and performance targets check out, we’ll move the new site live and point the domain.
