Guide Me Build Personal Blog

I’m just getting started with web development and want to learn by creating my own personal blog. I need someone who can walk me through each step—from setting up the development environment to deploying the finished site—while clearly explaining the “why” behind every line of code.

We’ll cover the essentials of front-end work (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) and, if you think it makes sense, a lightweight CMS or static-site generator so I can keep posting without touching code every time. I’d also like tips on structuring content, choosing a simple responsive layout, and adding basic SEO so friends can actually find the blog.

By the end, I expect:
• A fully functional personal/blog website that I can update on my own
• Well-commented source files and a short “how-to” guide summarizing everything we did
• A couple of live call or chat sessions where I can ask questions and share screens for feedback
