Educational Video Categories Revamp
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
I’m overhauling my educational video library and the first priority is a subject-based categorization that immediately improves the learner’s experience. At the moment hundreds of lessons sit under vague or overlapping labels, making it hard to browse or search. Your job is to design and execute a clean, intuitive taxonomy built strictly around subject areas, then retag every video so the new structure is ready for import into my content platform.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Audit the current catalogue and identify redundant or unclear categories.
• Propose a logical subject hierarchy (primary subjects, sub-subjects, and any cross-tags) with brief rationales.
• Tag or batch-update all videos against this hierarchy, delivering a spreadsheet or CSV that includes current ID, title, description, and the new subject path for each item.
• Provide clear documentation so future uploads can follow the same conventions without confusion.
Acceptance criteria:
• Every video assigned to exactly one primary subject; optional secondary tags used consistently.
• No orphan or “miscellaneous” buckets remain.
• Final taxonomy and metadata load without errors into my CMS and immediately surface in its search/filter UI.
You can work in Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, or another structured-data tool—whatever you prefer, as long as the final file is import-ready. If you’ve handled large media libraries, LMS content, or digital asset management systems before, that experience will be invaluable. I’m available for quick clarifications and will supply full export of the existing metadata as soon as we start. Let’s make the library effortless to navigate.
