Coastal Cottage Website & Booking
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need a clean, welcoming website to showcase my three-bedroom coastal house in South Gippsland, a stone’s throw from Wilsons Promontory and Sandy Point.
Pages & features
• Home – striking hero images, a concise house overview, photo gallery and an obvious “Book Now” call-to-action.
• Booking – straightforward calendar with date-picker, nightly rate display and automatic confirmation emails; no channel managers or payment gateways required at this stage.
• Things to Do – sections for nearby attractions, local dining options and outdoor activities so guests can plan their stay in advance.
Look & feel
I want the design to reflect a nature-and-sea-side vibe: calming coastal colours, organic textures and plenty of white space. Think modern layout with subtle rustic touches rather than a stark minimalist look.
Tech requirements
• Build in a user-friendly CMS (WordPress, Webflow or similar) so I can update text, photos and availability myself.
• Mobile-first responsive design.
• Basic on-page SEO (titles, meta, alt tags) and Google Analytics setup.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional three-page website, ready for my final copy and images.
2. Working booking form/calendar that emails both guest and host.
3. “Things to Do” page laid out under: Nearby Attractions, Local Dining Options, Outdoor Activities (space for at least five items each).
4. Quick admin guide (PDF or short video) explaining how to edit content and manage bookings.
I’d like to launch within four weeks, with initial mock-ups in the first week. Please share any similar accommodation sites you’ve built and let me know which platform you recommend.
