Freelancer Feature Page Copywriting
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m developing a new page on the Freelancer platform that helps visitors spell out their project needs while, at the same time, showcasing what makes the marketplace stand out.
The copy must remain firmly professional in tone and accomplish three things:
1. Walk users step-by-step through describing their job so they feel confident hitting “Post Project”.
2. Spotlight our strongest advantages—our network of millions of professionals and the instant, secure matching and payment system—without sounding like marketing hype.
3. Flow naturally with existing site UX, using clear micro-copy for form fields, concise section headers, and a persuasive closing call-to-action.
Deliverables
• Final page copy in a Google Doc, ready for hand-off to design
• A brief rationale outlining messaging hierarchy and any suggested UI text placements
• One round of revisions after internal review
Acceptance criteria
• Message hierarchy keeps the user task first, platform benefits second
• “Connecting millions of professionals” and “quick matches and secure payment terms” are each referenced at least once, in language that feels native to the brand
• Total word count ≤ 350 words, readable at B2 English level
If you’ve crafted onboarding or product pages for SaaS or marketplaces before, that experience will help. Please share one sample of similar work and outline your timeline for first draft delivery.
