Training Material Developer for Game Day Valet

About Us:
Game Day Valet (GDV) is a fast-growing sports rental business that provides tents, chairs, wagons, and more directly to families and teams at youth sports tournaments across multiple states. Our mission is to make tournament days stress-free for parents and fans.
What We Need:
We’re looking for an experienced Instructional Designer / Training Specialist to build a training package for our weekend staff and lead operators. This training will help new hires quickly understand our process and confidently manage on-site operations.
Scope of Work:
Create a step-by-step written training manual (PDF/Google Doc) covering:
Pre-event prep
Setup (tents, chairs, wagons, etc.)
Customer service guidelines
On-site logistics and runner coordination
End-of-day wrap-up and reporting
Develop short training videos (2–5 min each) demonstrating key processes (optional if you can handle video).
Provide a structure that makes training easy for seasonal/weekend hires (clear, repeatable, visual).
Recommend a platform or system (Google Drive, Trainual, Loom, TalentLMS, etc.) for storing and sharing training.
Deliverables:
One written training guide/manual (15+ pages, with photos/diagrams).
2–3 simple explainer videos.
Suggested rollout plan for training new staff.
Requirements:
Experience developing training manuals or onboarding guides.
Bonus: background in hospitality, events, or sports operations.
Ability to make content visual, clear, and easy to follow for part-time staff.
Timeline: 2 Weeks.
