Social Media Manager for Computer Repair Business
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I’m looking for an experienced and proactive Social Media Marketing Manager to handle ongoing content creation, posting, engagement, and growth for my computer repair business based on the Gold Coast, Australia.
We want someone who can take ownership of our brand voice, attract high-quality local customers, and consistently grow our visibility across Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, and potentially TikTok.
What You’ll Do
Plan and schedule weekly content that educates, engages, and builds trust with local customers
Create high-quality posts, short videos, reels, graphics, and stories
Manage comments, community engagement, and basic customer enquiry replies
Suggest and execute campaign ideas aligned with seasonal tech issues (viruses, slow PCs, upgrades, etc.)
Track performance and report on key metrics (reach, engagement, leads)
Recommend improvements to increase brand awareness and conversions
What a Successful Candidate Should Have
A great Social Media Marketer for this role will possess:
Strong content creation skills — can design graphics, write captions, and create short-form video.
Proven experience with local service businesses — ideally in tech, repairs, or home services.
Understanding of customer psychology — knows how to turn casual scrollers into paying clients.
Familiarity with social media algorithms — especially Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business.
Ability to work independently — proactive, reliable, and doesn’t need handholding.
Data-driven mindset — knows how to measure success and make improvements based on insights.
Consistency — can keep posts and engagement going every week without fail.
Creativity — able to suggest fresh ideas, trends, and content angles that keep us interesting.
Who This Role Is Perfect For
Someone who enjoys working with a small business, has a genuine interest in tech or digital services, and loves creating content that actually delivers results—not just likes.
