Pinterest Content Creator (Click-Driven, Viral Hooks + Simple Visuals)

Job ID: 40414533

Budget: $2 – $8 CAD

I’m looking for someone to create high-performing Pinterest content for a website focused on home project cost calculators (driveway, roofing, tree removal, landscaping, etc.). This role is not about making things look pretty. The goal is to turn boring cost topics into highly clickable, curiosity-driven pins. You should understand how to take something dry and make people *need to click*. You’ll also be working alongside another creator, so I’m looking for someone who brings fresh angles, testing mindset, and strong content instincts.

What You’ll Do:
- Create Pinterest pins (static + simple video pins)
- Write strong, click-driven hooks and titles
- Turn cost topics into “this surprised me” / “I need to know this” content
- Create short videos using simple visuals, screen recordings, or data-based content
- Test different angles (hidden costs, comparisons, mistakes, pricing shocks, etc.)
- Keep visuals simple, clear, and easy to scan (not overdesigned)

Important (Read This Carefully)
This is not a Pinterest growth/account management role. You are not responsible for growing followers. The focus is create content that gets clicks from Pinterest search + feed. That said, you should still understand:

- Keyword-aware titles
- Basic Pinterest SEO (alt text, boards, hashtags)
- How content gets distributed organically

Requirements:
- Strong hook writing (this matters more than design)
- Ability to make boring topics feel interesting or surprising
- Understanding of click psychology / curiosity gaps
- Clean, minimal design style
- Basic knowledge of Pinterest SEO (titles, alt text, boards, hashtags)
- Ability to generate ideas without hand-holding

Not a Fit:
- Focuses mainly on aesthetics instead of performance
- Relies on templates without thinking about the hook
- Tries to “grow the account” instead of optimizing for clicks
- Needs step-by-step direction for every idea

To Apply
1. Give 2–3 high-click potential pin ideas for a driveway cost calculator
2. Explain *why* someone would click each one
3. Share relevant examples of your work
