Manage Indonesian Quran FB Community (30 Days Period)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Community Manager – Quran Learning App (Indonesia, Remote)
We're building an active, faith-centered Facebook Group for Indonesian learners of the Quran, and we need a dedicated Community Manager to bring it to life. This is a part-time remote role — approximately 2–4 hours per day — open to candidates currently based in Indonesia.
About the Community
Our mobile app helps Indonesian Muslims stay consistent and inspired on their Quran journey. The Facebook Group is the heart of that experience outside the app — a space where members share reflections, practical tips, and personal milestones from their own study. Your job is not to broadcast from a brand page. It's to spark genuine, member-driven conversations that make people feel seen, supported, and motivated to keep going.
What You'll Do
Each week, you'll plan and publish a lightweight content calendar that prompts members to participate — question threads, poll prompts, story spotlights, and live-session reminders. You'll moderate the group daily to keep all interactions respectful and aligned with Islamic etiquette, resolving anything off-topic or inappropriate within 12 hours. When members ask about app features, you'll respond promptly and route recurring issues or standout ideas to our product team. Every Friday, you'll send a concise report covering new members, posts per day, top contributors, and overall engagement rate pulled from Facebook Group Insights.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 60 days:
Overall engagement rate improves by at least 20%
You publish a minimum of four discussion-starter posts per week
You spotlight at least two user-generated posts each week
No member question goes unanswered beyond 24 hours on weekdays
The group grows by a minimum of 300 new members
Light weekend monitoring is maintained, especially on Fridays following Jumat prayers, when community activity peaks
Tools You'll Use
Facebook Groups, Meta Business Suite, Canva (or a similar tool for light visuals), and Google Sheets for your weekly report. You'll receive full app access upon onboarding so you can answer member questions with genuine firsthand knowledge.
Compensation
Rp [X] – Rp [Y] per month, negotiable based on experience. You'll report directly to [Mohammad/Dev].
Who We're Looking For
You have hands-on experience managing Facebook Groups or online communities — ideally in a faith-based, educational, or learning-oriented context. You understand how Indonesian Muslim communities engage online: the tone, the sensitivities, the rhythm of conversation around ibadah and self-improvement. You're comfortable working independently, meeting deadlines without reminders, and turning quiet groups into active ones.
How to Apply
Skip the generic proposal template. Instead, write a short paragraph — no more than 200 words — that shows us two things: your experience managing an online community, and your understanding of how Indonesian Muslims engage in digital spaces around faith and learning. That paragraph will tell us more than a CV ever could.
We'd love to find the right person quickly. Let's help Indonesian learners stay inspired on their Quran journey — together.
