Grassroots Social Media and Crowdfunding Specialist
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
We’re seeking a creative and driven professional to take full ownership of a grassroots social media and crowdfunding campaign for The Layne Project for Families, a nonprofit providing direct services to families in transition or separation. Our mission is to support children who often suffer silently in the midst of parental discord, ensuring they receive stability, advocacy, and a voice.
This is a contract-based role that requires leadership, strategy, and execution to expand our reach and help us provide services to those who might not otherwise have access.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a social media strategy to raise awareness and engagement about our services.
Lead and manage a crowdfunding campaign to generate initial funding to expand services and outreach.
Create and manage content, post regularly, and engage with audiences across social platforms.
Conduct outreach to educate the public about The Layne Project for Families’ work and its impact on children and families.
Build momentum to position us for grant funding and future growth opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced in leading social media campaigns and crowdfunding initiatives.
Passionate about helping families in need and creating opportunities for children to thrive.
Self-motivated and creative, with strong communication and organizational skills.
About The Layne Project for Families:
We provide direct services to families navigating separation, transitions, or high-conflict situations, with a focus on helping children who are caught in the crossfire. Our mission is to not only safeguard these childhoods but also extend our reach to families who cannot afford these vital resources.
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and deliverables.
If you’re ready to lead a meaningful grassroots campaign and make a real difference, please apply with your résumé and a brief proposal outlining your approach.
