Engaging Video Editor for Gaming Streamer
Budget: $250 – $1,000 USD
The Mission
I’m building a personality-driven streaming brand with the long-term vision of expanding beyond gaming. I stream 4–5 days per week, play competitive and variety titles (Arc Raiders, Marvel Rivals, Elden Ring, etc.), and post high-volume, high-impact content daily.
I’m looking for a long-term editor, not a one-off clip mercenary.
Translation: If you’re looking to grow with a creator instead of hopping gigs every two weeks, keep reading.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
You’ll be the backbone of my content machine. This includes:
Short-Form Content
• Editing 2 shorts per platform per day (TikTok, IG Reels, YT Shorts)
• Strong hooks in the first 1–2 seconds
• Fast pacing, subtitles, zooms, meme timing, sound effects when appropriate
• Clips should highlight personality, reactions, skill, and humor
Long-Form Content
• Editing 1-3 long-form videos per week
• Clean cuts, pacing, light effects where it adds value
• Chapters / structure that retain viewers
Brand Consistency
• Maintain a recognizable editing style
• Understand Gen-Z humor without overcooking the edit
• Balance entertainment + authenticity (not MrBeast cosplay)
Workflow & Communication
• Organized file handling
• Comfortable with high output
• Open to feedback, iteration, and optimization over time
⸻
What I’m Looking For (Non-Negotiables)
• Experience editing gaming or streaming content
• Understands TikTok / Shorts algorithms
• Can edit at scale without quality falling off a cliff
• Knows when not to overedit (yes, restraint is a skill)
• Long-term mindset — this is a partnership, not a pit stop
Bonus points if you:
• Watch Twitch/YouTube regularly
• Understand how clips funnel viewers into streams & communities
• Can suggest clip ideas or timestamps (optional but elite)
⸻
The Offer
• $500/month starting budget
• Consistent work, consistent expectations
• Opportunity to scale pay as the brand scales
• Creative freedom once trust is established
• Zero micromanagement, high accountability
Think of it as a content retainer with upside—not a one-week contract with vibes and prayers.
